What a huge weekend— it was the biggest show for Collectors HQ to date!

We started the weekend with a pre-show pop-up to soft launch our NEW shop location, as well as fire up the vendors and attendees for the show set for the next day. Getting the keys to the shop only a couple weeks earlier, the pop-up was meant to be more of a last-minute mini event, however, the TCG community never fails to show up! We had 20 vendors present, a taco stand set up on our lot, and a steady stream of approximately 200 attendees. Vendors expressed high satisfaction with the event’s turn-out, stating it reached a similar caliber as other shows in the area. Attendees complimented the approachable and friendly nature of the vendors and others in the community. From coin tosses to ripping battles to the highly anticipated raffle prizes, it was a warm and intimate environment to christen the shop’s first event!
Sunday, February 22nd, 2026
The main event took place at our home venue at Clovis Veterans Memorial District. This was the largest event in our books with 95 tables booked, 3 food vendors on site, and roughly 850 attendees. Foot traffic was steady all and energy was high. There were still many vendors emailing/direct messaging requesting for a table days leading up to the show. We created more space by filling the end caps in the main room, and even reconfigured the side room that originally functioned as a lounge area for our guests to fit an additional 11 vendors. As part of the Collectors HQ staple, the vendors still received their free lunch vouchers and raffle tickets in efforts to continue making them feel supported and appreciated for participating in the show.
For the big ticket raffle prize, we gave the attendees the choice between Evolving Skies ETB, Prismatic ETB, or Twilight Masquerade Booster Box via a poll on Instagram. The Evolving Skies ETB won by over 70%. Our lucky winner was father/son duo, which both agreed to open the ETB at the center front of the show for all to see!

SPECIAL THANKS to the SMITTCAMP FAMILY HONORS COLLEGE STUDENTS
Since Collectors HQ Show 002, we’ve been partnering with Smittcamp Family Honors College from Fresno State to help with the physical efforts during the show. The man power for set-up and running the show has been primarily dependent on donated time from friends and family in order to keep table prices low for vendors and entrance free for attendees. However, with the help of Smittcamp students, we’ve been able to do more, such as— keep the entrance organized, ensure every attendee/vendor received a raffle ticket, manage the snack table, track attendance, and coordinate lunch deliveries for vendors who couldn’t leave their tables. Their dedication behind the scenes created a smooth, well-run event and made sure everyone felt welcomed, supported, and truly appreciated throughout the day.
Majority of the volunteers from show 003 show were also a part of show 002, all of which weren’t active members of the TCG community at the time. However, after seeing the hype surrounding collecting during their volunteer time, many began collecting themselves.
