The first Collectors HQ Card Show was created with one goal in mind-- create a welcoming and accessible trading card game community in Fresno. Free admissions for attendees is always guaranteed, and vendors can count on us to take care of them with affordable table prices and free food. Our mission is to provide a positive experience for all through connection and inclusivity, ensuring each person feels like a friend. With current shows reaching 800+ attendees with now up 90 vendors, it became clear that many shared a similar sentiment. It inspired us to establish a brick-and-mortar shop with the exact same goal and mission. With support from many loyal vendors and local TCG shop owners, Collectors HQ Card Shop was founded.
While the shows continue to deliver an exciting event for the Central Valley, the shop will serve as our home base to provide individuals with the same warm experience on a daily basis.
WELCOME
TO THE
COMMUNITY
MEET EDWINEdwin grew up in Fresno— attended Clovis East High School and graduated from Fresno State University with an economics degree. He’s always had a creative mind, a knack for entrepreneurship, and a boldness to go after his dreams. His ambitions have always been to be self-made, financially free, and independent.
Edwin has been chasing his vision of owning a business since he was 16 years old, when he bought his first professional camera. He has been a freelance photographer, videographer, and editor since 2017, focusing on portraits and lifestyle photos. Before Edwin committed full-time to the TCG business, he worked as a videographer and editor for a Youtube golf channel that took him all over the U.S. and Canada.
HOW DID EDWIN GET INTO TCG?
Edwin and his brother watched Pokémon growing up, and briefly collected cards as kids. His cousin, Ray John (RJ), reignited his interest after just a couple of packs in December 2024.
Edwin was hooked by the thrill of pulling the rare cards and chasing after the drops in commercial stores like it was a game. He met many new people and soon discovered how large, enthusiastic, and dedicated the TCG community can be.
When he started the trading/selling process and attending shows, he realized the advantages of being a vendor. Edwin partnered with RJ and founded Snapshot Collectibles, both of which started vending spring of 2025. You can still find Edwin and RJ at big shows up and down California under Snapshot Collectibles!
